Summer Camp 2010 & Hours!!

Hands on Pottery is offering bigger and better summer camp projects than ever before. This year we will be painting a peace themed table, frog water fountain, nautical mirror, and modern art themed pottery. The classes are offered for ages 7 and up and will take place Tues, Wed, Thurs, from 3-5pm. All classes are $185. Summer Camps 2009

This Year we are offering Camps in Both Stores for Ages 6-8 from 9:30 - 11:30 and Ages 9+ from 3 - 5pm. The classes will be offered on Tues, Wed, and Thurs. The cost of each Session is $175. October Hours and Specials!!

As of October we will now be open Sundays from 12 - 5 for the rest of the winter. We will now only be closed on Mondays except for school Holidays. We will be open in our Darien Store Monday October 8th in obervance of Columbus Day  from 11 - 5. For a full List of our winter hours click above. Our Specials for October are: $2 OFF Studio Wednesdays Oct 10th and 24th, 2 for 1 Sundays Oct 14th and 28th, and 1/2 Price Studio in Fairfield from 6-9 on Oct. 5th and 9th.

September Hours and Specials!!

Hope all you kids are doing well at school! Moms it is time to relax and paint some pottery! We are offering $2 off studio every Wednesday in September and 1/2 Price Studio from 6-9 on Fridays in our Fairfield Studio. Also this is the only month that we are closed 2 days! We are closed Sunday and Monday in the month of September! Please note that in October we open on Sundays 12-5 for the duration of the winter.

Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio signed a plate for us to auction off at this years CCSA pottery convention in Ohio! The Create for a Cure auction is to raise money for breast cancer, the Susan G. Koman Foundation.

Darien Nature Center

Eight hand painted dinner plates will be auctioned off at the Fifth Annual Darien Nature Center, Festival of Wreaths. Each plate has an original painting of a different holiday wreath. Hands on Pottery in Darien donated the supplies and local artist Virginia Ferrante-Iqbal, donated the artistic talent.

H.O.P. Toy Drive

Hands on Pottery is collecting toys to be destributed by Opus: Person to Person. We will be accepting Books and Toys for children aged 0-5 in return for a free studio.  The event will run from November 24th through Decemeber 13th.

Tiny Miracles Event 2006

The “Carnival of Life” was held at Weeburn Beach Club this past Sunday. We were one activity for children and adults to participate in raising money for local neonatal units.
